Mounting of S6011-RT/RTH Series of Temperature Transmitter & Temperature-humidity Transmitter

  • The transmitters are suitable for direct wall mounting or ceiling mounting using four screw holes on the base. The wiring must be inserted from the back. For mounting:
  • Choose an appropriate location to achieve good control of the ambient temperature. The room transmitters only sense the temperature or humidity at the location where it is mounted.
  • The transmitters should not be mounted close to windows or doors in order to avoid draught. On the other hand, sufficient air circulation must be ensured in order to sense the actual temperature of the room.
  • Place insulation material in the wiring conduit in order to prevent the introduction of air from outside the room.
  • The transmitter should not be exposed to direct radiation or to the sun as this could lead to inaccurate measurement.
