The EAC declaration and the EAC certificate of conformity are documents introduced first in 2011, consequently to the creation of the technical regulations TR CU of the Eurasian Economic Union . The EAC certifications are issued by independent EAC certification bodies and their laboratories accredited by the relevant agencies of the five members of the EAC Economic Union: Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan.

The EAC mark is a conformity mark that certifies that a product complies with all the requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) Harmonized Technical Regulations. Its goals are to protect human life, health and the environment, and to prevent misleading information from being passed on to consumers. All products that have successfully passed the conformity assessment procedure can be affixed with the EAC mark. Labeled products can be imported into the Eurasian Economic Union region and sold. Therefore, the EAC mark is a mandatory condition for launching products on the EAEU market.

1C – for mass production. EAC certificates are issued for a maximum period of 5 years. In this case, sample testing and factory manufacturing site audits are mandatory. EAC certificates are issued on the basis of test reports, technical document reviews and factory audit results.

Annual surveillance audits must also be conducted annually to check controls.

3C – for bulk or single delivery. In this case, sample testing is required.

4C – for a single single delivery. In this case, the actual test of the sample is also required.
