The static balance valve needs to be locked after a one-time debugging by a smart instrument to control the total water volume of the system within a reasonable range. The static balance valve is slightly cheaper in terms of engineering cost. The static balance valves are also called balance valves, manual balance valves, digital lock balance valves, two-position control valves, etc., used to solve the problem of branch pressure balance in pipeline design.
The static balance valve can be installed on the water supply pipe or the return pipe. It is generally installed on the return pipe, especially for high-temperature loops. For the convenience of debugging, it must be installed on the return pipe. The supply (return) water pipe with a balance valve does not need to be equipped with a stop valve.
The dynamic balance valve is used to solve the branch pressure balance problem caused by the frequent action of the temperature control valve at the end of each station. It can be installed on the water supply pipe or on the return pipe. But the price is higher than the static balance valve.
